Patience is a virtue

December 27, 2011 | Captain Hannah He

I hope everyone had a very merry and safe Christmas weekend! I went home for the weekend, and learned I am allergic to my family's new dog, a 75 pound "puppy" Rottweiler named Tank.

On coming back in to work today, I browsed through my news and saw that the FLEP board results were released last week. Congrats to my friend Sommerville, I know he's going to be a great JAG officer. I didn't make the list this year, probably for a number of reasons, but there's always next year.

Sometimes it seems that the Army just wants to test your patience before giving you anything good. Sometimes I feel like I'm still waiting for the Army to give me something good ;) For example, I'm still waiting to see if I can make this year's Assessment & Selection for the Cultural Support Teams, which I've been hoping for for almost a year now.  Maybe 2012 will hold better things for me......I guess I'll just have to be patient and see.
